Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The Hotel Laundry Attendant is responsible for the daily operation of the hotel’s laundry facility. This includes washing, drying, folding, and properly handling all hotel linens and towels. The Laundry Attendant plays a key role in supporting the overall cleanliness and guest satisfaction by ensuring that all linens meet the hotel's quality standards.



Key Responsibilities

  • Operate washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment according to hotel standards

  • Sort soiled linens and garments by type, color, and degree of soiling

  • Pre-treat stained or heavily soiled items as necessary

  • Load and unload laundry machines safely and efficiently

  • Fold, organize, and store clean linens and towels according to procedures

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry room and work area

  • Report any mechanical issues or shortages in linen inventory to the supervisor

  • Ensure proper handling of guest laundry items (if applicable), including logging, cleaning, and timely return

  • Follow safety procedures and use protective equipment as needed

  • Maintain quality control by inspecting finished products for cleanliness, damage, or wear

  • Assist Housekeeping Leadership team with monthly inventory counts


Must-Have Qualifications

  • Ability to work efficiently, independently, and as part of a team

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness

  • Able to lift, bend, stand, and move for extended periods

  • Flexible with working hours, including weekends and holidays


Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)

  • Basic English communication skills 

  • Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience 


Physical Demands

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours per workday)

  • Frequent bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, and reaching to manage supplies and assist staff

  • Exposure to cleaning chemicals

  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs (e.g., linen, amenities, equipment)
