If so, The Pfister is looking for a Houseperson to be a part of our team and continue its iconic legacy. As a Houseperson you will help make our guests feel at home by preparing our rooms for the next guests, cleaning, restocking items and helping keep all areas in the hotel clean, neat and tidy. 

Built in 1893, The Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee has been a hotel icon for nearly 130 years. As one of the best hotels in Milwaukee and the Midwest, we continue to celebrate a grand tradition of gracious service and impeccable style. The Pfister Hotel has received AAA Four Diamond hotel status for 46 consecutive years. The hotel is one of only 11 properties throughout North America to maintain the AAA Four Diamond designation since the inception of the Diamond Rating program in 1976.

What you will be doing:
Ensure prompt, superior service to guests.
Service stay-over rooms, changing linens and replenishing amenities.
Thoroughly clean check-out rooms, paying attention to detail.
Perform bed-making, vacuuming, bathroom cleaning, dusting, trash removal, and amenity restocking.
Restock supply cart for the next day.
Assist with team projects and perform additional assigned duties as needed.

What we are looking for:
Must be able to work a varied schedule to include days, evenings, weekends, holidays and the ability to work under pressure.
Previous experience in the same or a similar position such as a guest room attendant, cleaner, or other housekeeping, cleaning in hotels, hospitals, casinos or residential are preferred.
Physical stamina to complete repetitive manual labor tasks.
Must be able to lift, push, pull and or carry up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to represent the company in a professional, well-groomed and courteous manner.
Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, lift, grasp, stretch, and use a vacuum and push a cart on a regular and extended basis.
