Job description

Job Summary:
Our delivery drivers are the face of Seasons Pizza in the community. Our delivery drivers are responsible for transporting food and beverages to customers in residential and commercial locations in a safe and timely manner while providing a friendly customer service experience.

Job Requirements:
18 years or older with minimum 2 years driving experience.
Valid, non-expired driver license.
Proof of non-expired insurance that meets the requirements of the licensing state.
Vehicle to be used for delivery must have passed state vehicle inspection.
5-year Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) clear of certain violations as stated in our MVR Driver Evaluation Criteria.
Physical: Applicants must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, and able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Cognitive: Ability to read, speak and understand English.


Job Responsibilities:
Download and use the Delivery IQ App while on the clock.
Deliver customer orders in a safe and timely manner.
Confirm sequence of deliveries and directions before leaving the restaurant.
Prep and restock front of house and back of house food products as needed while following proper rotation methods.
Assist with putting vendor deliveries away.
Assemble and stock pizza boxes.
Stock soda fridges as needed.
Clean pizza bags (inside and out) as needed
Maintain a clean and organized delivery/dispatching area, including pizza bags.
Maintain proper food temperatures by using hot bags for all orders.
Follow all traffic laws.
Ensure all delivery receipts are totaled and signed.
Return all hot bags to the store.
Answer phones within 3 rings and place on hold and/or take customer orders when other associates are not available.
Follow proper cash drop procedures.
Communicate guest complaints, including missing items from a customer's order, to management immediately and assist in resolution where appropriate and directed.
Immediately return to the store after all completed deliveries, unless otherwise instructed by management.
Empty trash, break down cardboard boxes, and sweep parking lot.
Follow all closing procedures, including sweeping and mopping floors.
Other tasks as assigned.

Job Expectations and Qualifications:
Report to work on time and adhere to timeclock requirements.
Adhere to uniform and attire standards, and present a neat, clean and professional appearance at all times.
Adhere to all scheduling procedures, including time off requests and call out procedures.
Check orders for completion before leaving for delivery, and redeliver any missing items.
Maintain a sense of urgency, but drive cautiously to ensure quality food presentation.
Respect customer property (e.g., do not walk on the lawn).
Uphold all Seasons Pizza customer service standards, including prompt, friendly, courteous, personalized, and professional service.
Strong customer service skills; understands and upholds standards related to greeting, serving and interacting with customers and vendors.
Positive attitude at all times.
Friendly and helpful; offers help to customers, team members and community members.
Team-oriented; willing to help any other team member when asked or to assist without being asked.
Understand and uphold safe cash handling and risk guidelines.
Able to use Point of Sale system efficiently and effectively.
