Hotel Security Officer - Manhattan, NY
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
Are you a polished security professional who understands the importance of hospitality, customer service, and maintaining a professional presence? We are seeking dependable Security Officers to join a high-profile hotel security team in the heart of Manhattan.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with hospitality, luxury hotel, corporate, residential, or other high-end security experience who take pride in providing a welcoming and secure environment for guests, employees, and visitors.
Available Schedules
Part-Time
  • Friday & Saturday | 12:00 AM - 8:00 AM
  • Friday, Saturday & Sunday | 12:00 AM - 8:00 AM

Full-Time
  • Saturday through Wednesday | 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM
  • Friday, Saturday, Monday & Tuesday | 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
What You'll Do
  • Maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for guests, employees, and visitors.
  • Monitor assigned areas and conduct regular patrols as required.
  • Respond professionally to security concerns, incidents, and guest requests.
  • Assist with access control and enforce property security procedures.
  • Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining appropriate security boundaries.
  • Maintain a polished, professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with hotel management, staff, guests, and emergency personnel.
  • Complete required reports and documentation accurately and promptly.
  • Remain alert and attentive throughout the entire shift.
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who is professional, dependable, service-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Strong candidates will have:
  • Previous hotel, hospitality, luxury, corporate, residential, or high-end security experience required.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • A professional appearance and polished demeanor.
  • The ability to remain calm and professional when handling challenging situations.
  • Strong observation and situational awareness.
  • The ability to interact respectfully with guests from diverse backgrounds.
  • A willingness to be on your feet for the duration of the shift.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • Must be willing to provide proof of education.
  • Previous security experience is preferred.
  • Must be able to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Must be comfortable working in a busy hotel environment.
