Buck & Rider is looking for a dedicated Grill Cook to join our elite culinary team and support our upcoming growth!


Buck & Rider is a Seafood Eatery and Oyster Bar. Our seafood-centric restaurant focuses on a fun vibe, youthful attitude, and clean recipe lineup of food and drinks. Everything is fresh, from the raw bar to the vegetables, and locally driven. Our van drivers pick up the fresh fish directly from Sky Harbor airport and distribute it amongst our three locations: Arcadia, North Scottsdale, and Gilbert.

We're looking for positive and professional team members who are excited to learn our systems and develop in our culture. Experience in a high-volume polished atmosphere is preferred.


You will work in one of Phoenix’s most acclaimed restaurants, so if you thrive in a high-energy, team-based environment, then we want to hear from you.

Steak and seafood knowledge is a plus—but the desire to learn and deliver the highest level of hospitality is even better.

Day in the Life:

· Provide the highest level of cleanliness to brand standards

· Knowledge of recipe adherence

· Work the grill station during high-paced brunch, lunch and prep hours

· Ensure that high quality proteins are executed with quality taste and appearance

· Accuracy and speed when executing assigned tasks

· Demonstrate team service throughout shift in high volume, fast-paced environment

· Ability to read tickets and execute any modifications requested

· Execute best practices to include proper cooking and holding temperatures, sanitation procedures and safety protocols

· Accept direction from Management

· Ability to spend long hours standing and walking

· Adhere to all company safety and sanitation policies and procedures


Requirements:

· Comply with nutrition, sanitation regulations and safety standards

· Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line chef, restaurant cook or lead prep cook

· Reliability and strong attention to detail

· Have a current Food Handler's/ServSafe card or ability to obtain
