Compensation: $100,000 - $140,000 / year
Description
Position Overview:
As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities within the engineering consulting sector. This position requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record of successfully managing and closing projects, coupled with a strong aptitude for cultivating and maintaining client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
Business Development:
Responsible for effectively sourcing, negotiating, and facilitating new business.
Proposal and Contract Management: Creating and delivering proposals inclusive of scope, fees, and qualifications for public and client RFPs.
Client Relationship Management: Responsible for developing strong working relationships with clients.
Project Oversight: Assembling and guiding a team of RWDI consultants toward meeting project objectives by overseeing the preparation of documentation developed by the technical team.
Project Performance: Accountable for project performance, on-time and quality delivery, and ensuring client expectations are met or exceeded.
Financial Management: Manage financial activities of the project including tracking revenue, issuing invoices, and recovering receivables.
Quality Assurance: Ensuring that Quality Assurances are completed, recorded, and meet company standards and project scope.
Innovation: Track industry developments and innovations to ensure that RWDI continuously delivers relevant services and new and innovative deliverables.
Presentations and Conferences: Regularly develop and deliver presentations at project meetings/workshops and industry events.

  • Proven experience in business development and project management within the engineering consulting sector.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Understanding of building design and construction process, codes, standards, and protocols.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to clients effectively.
