Why You’ll Love This Role
  • Take ownership of meaningful projects spanning commercial, multifamily, and hospitality environments, giving you the chance to broaden your experience across several asset types.
  • Work in a role with visible impact, where your ability to guide schedules, budgets, design coordination, and field execution will directly shape project success.
  • Partner with experienced decision makers and cross-functional teams that value thoughtful planning, accountability, and practical problem-solving.
  • Bring forward cost-saving ideas, construction improvements, and process enhancements that influence outcomes from design development through final delivery.
  • Stay close to the action with a hands-on onsite presence and regular collaboration with contractors, consultants, and regulatory agencies.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead construction projects from planning and design review through punch, turnover, and closeout, keeping timelines, budgets, and quality standards tightly aligned.
  • Evaluate drawings and construction documents for constructability, completeness, cost impact, and overall project feasibility.
  • Coordinate plan check submissions, permit activity, and agency interactions to keep approvals advancing efficiently.
  • Review consultant proposals, support award recommendations, and manage contracts, commitments, scope changes, and change orders.
  • Help build and maintain project budgets, track spending trends, and prepare cost forecasts and budget update recommendations.
  • Guide communication across consultants, internal teams, tenants, and ownership when design changes or field issues arise.
  • Run project meetings, issue clear meeting notes, and maintain current schedule updates tied to milestone dates.
  • Oversee RFIs, shop drawings, material sample reviews, payment applications, and vendor invoices with strong attention to timing and accuracy.
  • Monitor daily construction activity in the field to ensure workmanship, design intent, and aesthetic expectations are achieved.
  • Direct subcontractors on applicable projects and keep stakeholders informed through consistent progress reporting, photos, and issue tracking.

To Be Successful in This Role, You'll Bring:
  • 5+ years of directly relevant construction project management experience.
  • Required experience in multifamily, commercial, and/or hospitality construction projects.
  • A bachelor’s degree is preferred, ideally in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Ability to travel regularly to project sites as needed (75% travel out of state).
  • Strong command of construction methods, sequencing, means and procedures, with the ability to spot quality issues early and resolve them effectively.
  • Confidence reading and interpreting architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and civil drawings, along with technical and engineering documentation.
  • Working knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, estimating, contractor proposals, change orders, and construction payment review.
  • Proficiency with Email, Word, Excel, MS Teams, and MS Project, plus experience with construction platforms such as Procore.
  • A composed, highly organized, and analytical work style, with strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities under deadline pressure.
  • Industry relationships with contractors, vendors, and regulatory contacts are highly valued.
