Job description

Responsible for delivering and retrieving patient meal trays, providing individualized assistance to every patient as needed, menu assignment and Hospitality Rounds. Delivers nourishments, supplements, internal feedings to patients as ordered and maintains floor stock on each unit. Correctly identifies every patient while maintaining confidentiality. Professional behavior is required at all times.

Maintains accurate records regarding patient diet orders. Assist patients with menu selection. Assist Dietician with Medical Nutrition Therapy. Supports the RMC/MHC Hospitality program with emphasis of team spirit and communication to insure quality of care and human dignity. Compiles information for production purposes. Maintains assigned areas in clean, neat and sanitary manner. Transports and stores food and supplies to maintain the food's quality. Contributes to the productivity and cost effectiveness of the department. Maintains safety and sanitation standards of department to ensure quality food.

High school diploma or GED is required.

Prefer two or more years prior food service experience in a healthcare setting.
