Job description

We are looking for a Sales Account Manager to join the Country Field Sales team, reporting directly to the Subsidiary Sales Manager of the relevant Business Segment. The role boasts variety with a key focus on new business development and account management. In this role, you should be hungry, highly professional, industry credible and collaborative. You will develop and maintain strong relationships and manage a large portfolio of products, services and solutions. In this role you will be meeting in-person with clients and prospective clients on a regular basis. This role is field based so candidates must be residing in the Greater Montreal Area and be able to travel throughout Quebec and East.

Your Impact:

  • Is accountable for all the customers present in the area, including all the National Key Accounts.
  • Ensure that local sales, profitability and cash flow targets are achieved both at multi-segment (covering both B2C and B2B) and multi-channel level to increase brand awareness).
  • Develop business opportunities and exploit market potential
  • Generate leads, profile customers, plan activities and update the CRM
  • Increase customer satisfaction
  • Guarantee adequate market feedback on segment trends
  • Maintain and develop existing relationships and seek new opportunities
  • Manage the market and carry out an appropriate number of customer/prospect visits in line with company sales code

Requirements

Ideally, you are passionate about working out, enthusiastic and proactive, while also down-to-earth and ethical. You have a positive and proactive mindset, strong organizational skills and are used to working in a fast-paced environment.

What you should bring:

  • At least 3 years sales experience as a Sales Account Manager or in a similar role
  • Outbound Sales Experience is a must - proven success in field sales a must
  • Degree in Business Administration, Sales or a relevant field
  • Experience in managing complex deals and selling solutions to the Hospitality and Residential sectors
  • Excellent consulting sales approach and negotiation skills
  • Solid experience with CRM software. Knowledge of Salesforce would be a plus
  • Result-driven approach
  • Excellent listening, communications and presentation abilities
  • Bilingual - french and english a must
