**Internal Medicine Nocturnal Hospitalist Opening โ€“ Valdosta, GA**
Located in Valdosta, Georgia
Seeking a Board Certified Internal Medicine physician to serve as a Graduate Medical Education Teaching Nocturnal Hospitalist in an academic hospital setting. This role combines hospital medicine with resident teaching and mentorship in a collaborative clinical learning environment.
**About the Position**
-Full-time nocturnal hospitalist position
-12-hour night shifts
-Approximately 15 nocturnal shifts per month
-No call responsibilities
-Hospital-employed faculty role within a Graduate Medical Education program
-Serve as clinical preceptor for Internal Medicine residents
-Supervise and mentor residents in patient care and clinical decision-making
-Teach evidence-based medicine, professional development, and practice management
-Work in a collaborative academic environment with opportunities for scholarly activity
-EPIC electronic medical record system
