Job Description 

We’re looking for Paramedics who are excited to deliver critical care in emergency situations and make a direct impact when it matters most. In this role, you’ll respond to calls for emergency medical assistance, assess patients on-site, administer immediate care, and transport patients safely to medical facilities. We value quick decision-making, calm under pressure, excellent communication, and empathy for those in crisis, and we’re excited to welcome teammates who bring these strengths to our team. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Respond rapidly and effectively to emergency calls 

  • Perform assessments and administer appropriate medical care 

  • Transport patients safely to healthcare facilities 

  • Maintain accurate records and comply with documentation standards 

  • Operate ambulance vehicles safely and efficiently 

Collaborative Teamwork 

This role involves working closely with fellow emergency personnel and hospital teams to provide timely and coordinated care in urgent scenarios, ensuring smooth communication and a patient-centered approach. 

Qualifications 

  • State of California Paramedic Certification required upon hire and maintained thereafter 

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required and maintained 

  • Valid California Driver’s License and Ambulance Driver’s Certification 

  • DMV H6 Report in compliance with insurance standards 

  • Must be at least 21 years old to operate ambulances 

  • Must pass pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check 

  • Proficient in computer use 

  • Ability to read, write, understand and communicate effectively in the English language 

  • Must be able to put into practice Service Excellence skills with our patients, families, coworkers, and community
