Job Description 

We’re looking for Occupational Therapists who are excited to support patients through meaningful rehabilitation and recovery. In this role, you’ll organize and conduct occupational therapy programs in the hospital and for Home Health patients, helping individuals restore, reinforce, and enhance performance in daily tasks and essential life skills. 

You’ll play an important role in helping patients adapt, improve function, promote health, and work toward greater independence. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Organize and conduct occupational therapy programs for hospital and Home Health patients  

  • Direct patient participation in selected tasks to restore, reinforce, and enhance performance  

  • Support patients in learning skills and functions essential for adaptation and productivity  

  • Help diminish or correct pathology and promote and maintain health  

  • Make recommendations regarding equipment and staffing requirements  

Collaborative Teamwork 

This role involves working closely with our team to deliver effective, patient-focused services and contribute to a supportive and collaborative work environment. 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent  

  • Current registration in the state of California  

  • Certification, if applicable, and demonstrated competency in identified areas of specialization  

  • Training for age groups likely to be seen in hospital, Home Health, DP, and SNF settings  

  • Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills  

  • Demonstrated competency in applying the principles, methods, materials, and equipment used in occupational therapy  

  • Ability to assess patient needs and develop and implement a comprehensive plan of care 

  • Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements  

  • Recommended affiliation with the American Occupational Therapy Association  

  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate effectively in the English language  

  • Must be able to put into practice Service Excellence skills with our patients, families, coworkers, and community
