Job description

The Perioperative Assistant supports the peri-operative unit by preparing operating rooms for surgical procedures, assisting in surgical patient positioning, cleaning operating/procedure rooms after surgical and GI procedures, cleaning and disinfecting equipment , assisting in transporting patients within the department and throughout the hospital, stocking medical and patient care supplies throughout the department, and ensuring surgical attire is stocked. Requirements include: Current and valid American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Previous in an OR strongly preferred. 

Pay: $23.00-$25.00/hr
