As a Security Officer Full Time Computer Assisted Patrol in Englewood, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. What You'll Do:
  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, hospital policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or potential hazards.
  • Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, wayfinding, and adherence to facility access procedures.
  • Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
