Job description


Summary
  • Deliver direct nursing care to assigned patients, ensuring compassionate and high-quality support.
  • Assist in assessing the needs of patients and their families, contributing to comprehensive care plans.
  • Engage in planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, adapting to individual patient needs.
  • Effectively communicate patient care information and status updates to the RN/Charge Nurse.

Schedule
  • Fulltime or Part-time position available - Working 48-72 hours every two weeks | Onsite
  • Rotating 12-hour shifts - start times 7:00AM and 7:00PM
  • Every third weekend rotation and holiday rotation

Pay and Benefits
  • Pay based on experience
    • Pay range: $22.03-$33.20 per hour
    • Earn an additional $1.25 per hour for rotating 12-hour night shifts

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of Minnesota required.

  • Ability to understand patients' medical records, physician orders and medication orders to be communicated to the patient and staff.

The CentraCare Benson Hospital is a 21-bed critical access hospital with an attached rural health clinic. A clinic and hospital addition/renovation project was completed in the fall of 2013. Our group of family physicians, nurse practitioners and visiting specialists work together to provide a wide range of medical services for Benson and the surrounding area.
