Job Description

The position requires prior experience as a material handler/packer/processing orders and using basic computer functions to track inventory.

Responsibilities

  • Perform shipping and receiving tasks directly when needed, including preparing packages, labeling, and verifying shipment details.
  • Use FedEx and UPS software to process orders
  • Operate sit-down forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, load, and unload materials safely occassionally.
  • Palletize materials and organize inventory in designated storage areas to maintain an orderly warehouse environment.
  • Perform data entry related to purchase orders, shipping, and receiving activities using computer systems and SAP.
  • Verify incoming and outgoing materials against purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy.
  • Follow established safety procedures and guidelines while operating equipment and performing all material handling tasks.

Essential Skills

  • At least 1 years of experience working with FedEx shipping systems (Recommended but not needed).
  • At least 1 years of experience working with UPS shipping systems (Recommended but not needed).
  • Proficiency using a computer for data entry and documentation.
  • Ability to use FedEx and UPS software for processing shipments.
  • Experience with shipping and receiving processes, including handling purchase orders.
  • Ability to operate a sit-down forklift safely and effectively.

Pay and Benefits
