Job Description: We're seeking an experienced pharmacist to join our team at Jenkins County Medical Center on an as needed basis (PRN). The ideal candidate is someone who works well in a team environment, detail-oriented, strong communication skills, and problem-solving skills. Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Fulfills all legal and regulatory requirements, including evaluation, selection, procurement and distribution of drugs, counseling and professional consultation
  • Ensures compliance with all state and federal regulations as well as policies of the hospital and PharmD on Demand
  • Interprets physician medication orders
  • Compounds and dispenses prescribed medications and other pharmaceuticals and related products for patient care by performing related duties
  • Represents the hospital and PharmD on Demand in a positive and professional manner
  • Maintains customer confidentiality at all times
  • Complies with all organizational policies regarding ethical business practices
