Job description

Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) - Archbold Living Pelham

**SIGN ON BONUS ELIGIBILITY**

MINIMUM STARTING PAY $18.35/HR, based on experience

Position Description:

  • Assist RNs and LPNs with meeting the needs of hospitalized patients or nursing home residents
  • Actively participate in nursing reports by receiving and contributing to status reports of patients/residents
  • Provide complete and thorough personal care for patients
  • Take and accurately record vital signs
  • Assist and accompany the patient in the admission, transfer and discharge process while assuring comfort and safety
  • Promptly and consistently respond to patient/resident needs
  • Promptly and consistently respond to needs of family members
  • Complete housekeeping responsibilities such as utility rooms and dietary kitchen as needed
  • Assist with ADLs- personal care, feeding, bathing, and dressing
  • Provide support to patients and family members

Experience/Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Current Georgia CNA certification required  
  • Previous patient care experience in hospital or long-term care setting preferred
