We are seeking a Hospital Inventory Clerk to join our Magic Valley Medical Center Surgical Services team. This clerk maintains a perpetual inventory of material, equipment, supplies and other general stock items.
Schedule:
  • This is a part time position, 20 hours per week
  • Monday - Friday, 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

What You Can Expect:
  • Records purchases, maintains database, performs physical count of inventory, and reconciles actual stock count to records.
  • Computes figures from records, such as sales orders, production records, or purchase invoices to obtain current inventory levels.
  • Verifies clerical computations against physical count of stock and adjusts errors in computation or count. Investigates and reports reasons for discrepancies.
  • Receives, unpacks, and delivers goods. Re-stocks items as necessary. Labels shelves.
  • May maintain, edit and troubleshoot case preference cards to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Liaises with vendors and purchasing agents, and prepares deliveries.
  • Participate and initiate performance improvement projects that are relevant to inventory management.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent
