A Project Search Job Coach works with individuals with disabilities at Berger Hospital to help them learn the skills necessary to become independent during their internship.

DESCRIPTION
As a Project Search Job Coach, you'll build meaningful relationships with the individuals you work with, as well as their families, support teams, and employers. You'll also have the opportunity to work with our High School Transition Program. This program allows students to defer their graduation for a year to complete an internship program with Ohio Health. You'll work closely with about 3 to 4 students as they complete internships at a host business, which in this case is Berger Hospital. You'll help them build independence and achieve their goals, and at the end of the program, they will graduate.

REQUIREMENTS
  1. High school diploma/GED or above.
  2. Ability to type 25 words per minute and navigate a company-issued laptop.
  3. A clean driving record and willingness to transport clients in company vehicles.
  4. Ability to pass a background and drug screening (a list of the disqualifying offenses can be provided if needed).
