Job description

JOB DESCRIPTION

Insight Global is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide hands-on technical support for end users across hospital, clinic, and administrative locations. This individual will be responsible for responding to service desk tickets, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, installing and replacing equipment, and assisting with workstation moves, additions, and changes at onsite and offsite locations throughout Bergen County NJ. They must also be able to assist with account access, and application-related issues over the phone, through remote support tools, and via the service desk ticketing system. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, possesses strong communication and problem-solving skills, and is comfortable guiding users through technical solutions in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Experience resolving Level 1 and Level 2 technical issues, documenting resolutions, escalating complex incidents when necessary, and delivering an excellent end-user support experience is highly preferred.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 1 year experience with Desktop Support
• Must be knowledgeable configuring installing and testing software
• Windows/Microsoft environment experience
• Experience troubleshooting basic hardware & software issues and working directly with end users
• Excellent communication and readiness to learn
High School Diploma

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Previous hospital desktop support experience
Bachelor's Degree in related field
