Job description

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Under general supervision, utilizing telephony integrated computer system with specialized software to provide assistance with: HFHS directory, pager communications, on-call operations, and after-hour physician answering service.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

ย ย ย ย ย ย  Provide HFHS directory and information service to internal and external customers.

ย ย ย ย ย ย  Process short and long-range paging. Perform minor pager system diagnostics.

ย ย ย ย ย ย  On a rotating basis, perform routine paging system data base maintenance i.e. compacting and on-call schedules.

ย ย ย ย ย ย  Provide call center dispatching of emergency teams for internal and external disasters, blue alerts, bomb threats, etc.

ย ย ย ย ย ย  Provide after hour, weekend and holiday answering service for HFH Medical Group and HFHS Medical Center Physicians.

ย ย ย ย ย ย  Provide after hour, weekend and holiday answering service for the Referring Physicians Office.

ย ย ย ย ย ย  Process U.S. Postal and HFHS Inter-departmental mail.

ย ย ย ย ย ย  Maintain computerized database for internal HFHS management mailing distributions.

ย ย ย ย ย ย  Perform other related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

ย ย ย ย ย ย  High School Diploma or equivalent.

ย ย ย ย ย ย  One year of computer technology, data entry, and work processing skills. One year of college course work in Business is preferred.
