Job description

Schedule: Approximately 10 hours per week, primarily on Wednesdays and Saturdays (some scheduling flexibility available)

Pay: $20–$25 per hour, based on experience

Animal Emergency Hospital and Urgent Care is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Cleaner/Custodian to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment in our busy veterinary ER. This role is essential in supporting the health and comfort of our patients, clients, and team members.

Responsibilities
  • Clean and disinfect common surfaces throughout the hospital
  • Dust furniture, fixtures, and equipment
  • Sweep and mop all hospital floors
  • Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, and floors
  • Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
  • Assist with laundry as needed
  • Perform general housekeeping duties to keep the hospital clean, organized, and presentable

Please note: This position is not responsible for cleaning kennels, stocking supplies, or sanitizing medical equipment. Those responsibilities remain with our clinical team.

Qualifications
