Crouse Health is hiring a Senior Hospital Accountant. 
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm

Pay Range: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 / annual

Senior Hospital Accountant Position Responsibilities:

  • Accurately documents all financial transactions and properly maintains the general ledger and asset management modules of the organization accounting systems.
  • Diligently reviews, interprets and analyzes monthly budget versus actual revenue to proactively identify variances and resolve in a timely and professional manner.
  • Properly maintains monthly and yearly audits/reconciliations of balance sheet accounts, including tracking of construction in progress accounts.
  • Assist department leadership with the preparation of reports and analysis for the organization annual capital budget process.
  • Accurately complete and file the appropriate tax returns for the organization and affiliates.
  • Efficiently coordinate the Capital Review Committee and meticulously track all approved capital purchases.
  • Competently prepare monthly financial presentations and conduct in depth analysis prior to the monthly board meeting.
  • Assumes other duties as assigned by department leadership.

Senior Hospital Accountant Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or business related field required.
  • Three (3) years of public or hospital accounting experience required.
  • Previous experience with healthcare auditing processes preferred.
  • Working knowledge of general ledger and accrual basis of accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office and database management.
