Principle Purpose of JobWe are hiring for both year-round and seasonal Groundskeeper positions. Year-round positions focus on maintaining the pristine appearance, safety, and functionality of our outdoor spaces, while seasonal roles specialize in full-time snow removal during the winter and gardening tasks throughout the summer. This role also includes outdoor facilities support, large-scale event assistance, and general grounds maintenance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform general maintenance tasks, including landscaping, trash removal, recycling, lawn care, and irrigation.
  • Assist with trails and forestry activities such as fencing, tree clearing, and stables maintenance.
  • Provide exceptional guest experiences and maintain a welcoming outdoor environment.
  • Support snow removal operations in winter using shovels, blowers, plows, and loaders.
  • Maintain safe walkways and roads by applying de-icing materials and monitoring icy conditions.
  • Participate in full-time gardening efforts in summer, including planting, pruning, and greenhouse upkeep.
  • Assist with large-scale event setups, including moving furniture and equipment.
  • Perform forestry maintenance, including clearing dead trees, trail upkeep, and fire mitigation.
  • Support routine and emergency outdoor facility maintenance.
  • Operate trucks, trailers, and various grounds keeping equipment safely.
  • Report and assist in repairing unsafe conditions across the ranch.
  • Cross-train in various ranch operations to support team flexibility.

Requirements

  • Experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, snow removal, or a related field preferred.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Proficiency in operating groundskeeping and snow removal equipment.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety in all weather conditions.
  • Demonstrated reliability and dependability in previous work experiences.
  • Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and contribute to a positive team atmosphere.

Compensation Description:$18.00 - $20.00/hr  Competitive pay commensurate with education and experience.
