Testing Manager

Employment Type: Proposal Future Job Opportunity

Location: Fully Remote

Client: DLA

The Testing Manager is responsible for supervising a team of test specialists and managing complex, state-of-the-art testing programs. This role translates complex program requirements into testable objectives and ensures the successful execution of comprehensive testing strategies.

The Testing Manager develops and oversees the overall test strategy, including objectives, methodologies, analysis, and schedules. The role requires analyzing program requirements, recommending test cycles, test plans, safety reviews, and detailed test objectives. The manager must effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders to ensure successful test program execution.

This position requires applying advanced testing methodologies to address system limitations and restrictions while independently assessing system performance against stated requirements. The Testing Manager leads analysis efforts to evaluate output data, interfaces with clients, and provides clear results and actionable recommendations. The role also involves utilizing use cases and user stories to develop effective test cases.

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience in software testing or quality assurance
  • Experience testing software applications, including:
    • System testing
    • Regression testing
    • Acceptance testing
    • End-to-end testing
    • Performance testing
    • Automation testing
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment
  • Knowledge of System Operations, Engineering, and DevOps integration
  • Experience developing and maintaining automated test cases using designated testing tools
  • Strong familiarity with commercial testing environments and operating procedures
  • Experience supervising test specialists and managing complex testing programs
  • Experience translating complex program requirements into testable objectives
  • Experience analyzing and recommending test cycles, test plans, safety reviews, and detailed test objectives
  • Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience with Oracle EBS R12.2 platform
  • Must possess IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive clearance or Tier 3 (T3) at the time of proposal submission
  • Active Secret Clearance or higher
