Job Purpose The Supply Chain Management Operations Department is responsible for the oversight, standardization, and technical leadership of the internal material handling operations at the Honda automobile powertrain and final assembly sites across North America. The CLC will drive direction with Contracted Logistics Leadership to ensure daily, monthly, and yearly targets are met then root cause and countermeasures applied when gaps occur. Responsible to assist the department in achieving strategic objectives, manage related KPIs, personnel, and performance to support and promote Honda's long-term objectives related to the transition to BEV.

Network with business partners outside of core department to break down barriers and link 3PL leadership and stakeholders for greater output. Key Accountabilities * Manages a team of 25+ indirect 3PL to ensure Receiving and Delivery processes meet the Plant daily production requirements, while meeting both Plant and Department Safety, Quality, and Delivery KPIs. Taking accountability of the 3PL and address medium to high complexity problems with team members and communicates progress & gaps with Department and Division leaders. * Drives initiatives which align with SCM strategy and manages Contracted Logistic Companies operational performance including safety, receiving, delivery, return flow, and shipping processes. Track, communicate, root cause and countermeasure KPI gaps across 3PL business. * Lead for department initiatives such as business plan, FSI (loss elimination) to gain or share knowledge, promote continuous improvement and foster engagement.

Manage professional communication networks with other production departments to collaboration activity and close business gaps between departments. * Demonstrate solid base of operational knowledge, using experience and knowledge to continually improve efficiency and effectiveness of task within area of expertise. Execute activities/tasks to achieve strategic objectives.
