Job Summary:

The Director - Key Account Management is responsible for leading strategic client relationships, driving business growth, and overseeing pricing, contract negotiations, and account operations for key global clients. This role focuses on developing competitive strategies, optimizing cost structures, and supporting long-term business expansion within the gaming console and technology industry.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead industry research by analyzing global supply chain dynamics and emerging technology trends; develop annual business expansion strategies and objectives.
  • Monitor customers and competitors, intelligence; conduct in-depth analysis of key competitorsโ€™ pricing strategies and production planning and develop competitive strategies.
  • Review periodic pricing for mass production and BOM cost consolidation reports; coordinate with procurement and R&D teams to optimize cost structures, ensuring competitive pricing and healthy profit margins.
  • Lead pricing strategies and contract negotiations and decide final bidding terms to ensure project acquisition and company profitability.

  • Build and maintain communication channels with customers and stakeholders to strengthen strategic partnerships and enhance customer loyalty.

  • Regularly review profitability reports for each product line; analyze key variables impacting profit and loss, and drive profit improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate and integrate workflows across Sales, PM, R&D, Procurement, and Manufacturing; oversee team training, performance evaluation, and motivation.

Education:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree or above.

Experience:

  • Over 15 years of experience in account management or project management (PM) with U.S.-based clients; familiarity with the gaming console industry is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel extensively
  • English proficiency with the ability to communicate directly and fluently with international teams and clients.
  • Bilingual language skills in Chinese is a plus

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods during scheduled shifts.
  • Ability to occasionally walk, bend, or reach while supporting office and facility operations.
  • Ability to perform repetitive hand movements when handling office supplies, documents, or computer equipment.
