MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Executive Director, Intelligence and Homeland Security Sector Practice Growth Partner (PGP) focusing on Cyber technologies to join our team in Herndon, VA.

The PGP serves as the primary Practice representative within MANTECH's Intelligence and Homeland Security Sector infusing Practice capabilities, standards, and growth priorities into account strategy, pursuits, and delivery. This role acts as a senior integrator that drives Practice capabilities into the business and connects sector demand to Practice priorities.

This is a hybrid position, with travel to our MANTECH headquarters and client locations as necessary to support delivery.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Embed Practice perspective into Sector account planning, pipeline shaping, and solution design.

  • Ensure consistent use of Practice standards, assets, and offerings across priority accounts.

  • Translate account demand signals into actionable inputs for the Practice roadmap.

  • Coordinate Practice SME support across accounts to avoid fragmentation or duplication.

  • Act as a first-line resolver of Sector-Practice tradeoffs before formal escalation.

  • Recommend and influence capability integration, SME deployment, and standards adherence.

  • Participates in key client meetings and drives practice participation in the capture and proposal process.

  • Maintains an understanding of each account's need for Cyber practice resources and coordinates within the practice to ensure readiness to support delivery, including new awards and active contracts

  • Prioritize the deployment of Practice capabilities and resources across accounts.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree with 15+ years of progressively responsible experience in technical leadership and solution shaping.

  • Deep Cyber Practice domain expertise paired with enterprise and Intelligence and Homeland Security context.

  • Proven ability to operate laterally across accounts, Business Development, and technical delivery teams.

  • Strong background in solution shaping and technical storytelling tied directly to mission outcomes.

  • Demonstrated skill in account plan contribution, opportunity qualification, and stakeholder orchestration.

  • Experience exercising judgment to prioritize Practice capabilities and resources toward high-impact opportunities.

  • Experience working within the federal Intelligence and Homeland Security community.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into mission-relevant outcomes.

  • Experience with Google Workspace.

  • Experience with Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in a related technical or business field.

  • Proven pattern recognition across accounts to identify scaling and On-Contract Growth (OCG) opportunities.

  • Demonstrated success driving Practice Revenue, Margin, and Return on Sales (ROS) in a matrixed environment.

  • Deep familiarity across the overall Federal government Cyber landscape.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must have a current/active TS/SCI with CI poly

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.

  • Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

  • Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.


The projected compensation range for this position is $165,900.00-$297,100.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.  In addition, MANTECH invests in its employees beyond just compensation.  MANTECH's benefits offerings include, dependent upon position, Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, Holiday Pay, short-term and long-term Disability, Retirement and Savings, Learning and Development opportunities, wellness programs as well as other optional benefit elections.
