Homefirst workers, also known as home support workers or home care aides, provide essential care and assistance to individuals who wish to remain in their own homes due to age, illness, or disability. Their duties often include helping with daily activities like bathing, dressing, meal preparation, and light housekeeping. They may also offer companionship and monitor clients’ health and well-being. Homefirst workers play a vital role in improving quality of life and supporting independent living for their clients.

What are the typical responsibilities of a Homefirst care worker during a standard week?

As a Homefirst care worker, your typical week will involve providing short-term, intensive support to individuals recently discharged from hospital or at risk of hospital admission.
