As a Caregiver for Homeland HomeCare, you would contribute to our community of caring by providing direct personal care and general housekeeping support to home-bound clients.

Homeland HomeCare provides a full range of non-medical services that are customized to meet the individual needs of our clients, with emphasis on companionship, comfort, and independence.

  • We are currently hiring for Full-Time candidates for First and Second shifts.
  • We offer advancement opportunities through our CNA Training Academy and Educational Assistance programs.
  • Candidates hired may be eligible for a pay increase after 90-Days and an annual bonus.
  • This position requires a valid Pennsylvania driver's license and reliable internet access.

As Homeland HomeCare's Caregiver you would provide personal care and housekeeping/companion services to clients in the home or other environments where the client resides in accordance with an established individualized plan of care and under the supervision of a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Provide care and comfort to clients in accordance with assigned tasks and the established plan of care. Observe the client, report and document observations and care performed. Provide timely documentation of services based on the client's care plan.

Requirements for HomeCare Caregiver:

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to complete a 40-hour Caregiver Training Program as part of your orientation process, with a passing score on a written competency test.

Experience

  • Minimum age requirement of 18.
  • Minimum 2 years' caregiver experience.

Licensure, Registration, and Certification

  • Valid drivers' license and reliable transportation that is insured in accordance with Pennsylvania state requirements.
  • Satisfactory references from employers and/or professional peers.
  • Satisfactory criminal background check.
  • Maintains current CPR certification.
