These teachers deliver lessons at the student's home or hospital setting, ensuring that the student keeps up with their coursework and educational progress. Homebound teachers often collaborate with classroom teachers, counselors, and parents to create individualized learning plans tailored to the student's needs. Their goal is to help students stay connected to their education and transition smoothly back to school when possible.

What are some common challenges faced by homebound teachers when supporting students remotely?

  • Coordinate warranty repairs with trade partners, subcontractors, and internal construction teams
  • Educate homeowners on warranty coverage, limitations, and maintenance responsibilities
  • Review warranty issues for trends, root causes, and opportunities for process or quality improvement

What You Bring:

  • Highly organized with strong time‑management skills and the ability to manage multiple active claims
  • Detail‑oriented with strong follow‑through and accountability
  • Comfortable using technology platforms and learning new systems
