Job description

West Elm in Tampa is seeking a motivated and creative Retail Sales Designer to join our team.  This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with customers, has a strong eye for design, and thrives in a fast - paced retail environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with customers to design and recommend products that fit their need, space and style.
  • Provide excellent customer service throughout the sales and design process.
  • Create visually appealing design solutions and product layouts.
  • Meet or exceed sales goals, for sales per hour, credit card generation and other metrics.
  • Maintain product knowledge and stay upto date with design trends
  • Assist with showroom presentation and merchandising.
  • Must have flexible work availability to work days, evenings and holidays.
  • Great growth opportunity within West Elm or sister brands.
  • Competitive hourly.
  • Ability to travel to in homes to meet clients in their own space for measuring and design projects.
