About your role as a Lead PCA:

In accordance with the Wallick Mission and Values, provide direct resident care and strive to give our residents a worth and meaning and to help them strive as far mentally, physically, spiritually, emotionally, and socially as they choose.


About You:

  • Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.

  • Should possess proficiency in operating a computer.

  • Should be organized and self-motivated.

  • Completion of first aid training and certification.

  • Ability to communicate in writing and verbally with peers, visitors and supervisor.

  • Ability to read and interpret work instructions.

  • Ability to apply basic math skills.


Licenses/Certifications/Registrations:

First Aid/CPR Certified.


You also have:

  • Schedules and completes the task assignment sheet in coordination with the PCA staff.

  • Attends weekly manager meetings.

  • Sit in on family/resident care conferences.

  • Provides physical resident care to include all aspects of personal hygiene and grooming.

  • Answers call lights in a timely manner and responds accordingly to the resident's needs.

  • Knows proper technique for first aid.

  • Assists in maintaining a positive environment for the residents.

  • Motivates and encourages resident involvement in the participation in activities.

  • Assists residents to and from activities.

  • Re-directs residents as needed.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
