Continuing Training Opportunities

Responsibilities:

ยท Reinforcement of dressings (non-sterile)

ยท Assisting with the use of devices for aid in daily living (cane, walker, wheelchair or lift device)

ยท Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises

ยท Measuring and preparing special diets

ยท Taking vital signs (temperature, pulse, respirations and blood pressure)

ยท Meal prep and light house keeping

ยท Activies of daily living

Requirements:

ยท High school degree and/or a G.E.D. certificate

ยท

ยท Must have a sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick, and ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job

ยท Current CPR Certificate is recommended

ยท Meets the requirements for employees providing direct patient care

ยท Read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job

ยท Have a valid driverโ€™s license and use of an insured automobile for work or access to adequate transportation
