Job description

The Home Accessibility and Modification Specialist works in coordination with contractors to install, repair, and maintain home and vehicle accessibility solutions. This includes ramps, stairlifts, bathroom modifications, vertical platform lifts, vehicle lifts, and a variety of other accessibility equipment designed to improve safety, mobility, and independence.
Principal Roles and Responsibilities
โ€ข Troubleshoot, Diagnose, repair and service product and equipment
โ€ข Perform inspection and preventive measure on all company equipment
โ€ข Keep up-to-date knowledge of any changes to the products Williams Bros. Health Care Pharmacy offers or services
โ€ข Complete all paperwork accurately and in a timely manner: work orders, receipts, etc.
โ€ข Partner with management to develop and implement new programs to enhance sales and marketing
โ€ข Transport supplies and equipment as needed
โ€ข Attend vendor certification and training for maintenance, repair, and installation guidelines
โ€ข Train and coach all DME associates on product and services provided
โ€ข Respond to maintenance, repair, and installation equipment within 24 hours (end of next business day).
โ€ข Provide consultation services to patients in regards to home and vehicle accessibility options
โ€ข Provide measurements, quotes, orders, and invoices to support/substantiate consultation
โ€ข Schedule and prepare supplies needed for installations
โ€ข Install home modifications including, but not limited to ramps, grab bars, bathtub modifications.
โ€ข Install vehicle modifications including, but not limited to wheelchair ramps and lifts, and patient lift systems
โ€ข Maintain neat and clean installation vehicle at all times
โ€ข Performs duties as requested by the Department Supervisor specific to that department.
