A Career You Can Actually Build — While Getting Paid to Train
Focused Property Inspections | Southern & Coastal Maine
Veteran-Owned | Paid Training | Full-Time Employment

Most people stumble into home inspection by accident. Then they wonder why they didn't find it sooner.
You're out in the field every day. Different homes, different challenges, real problem-solving. You build expertise that pays you back — and you do it without a four-year degree or a mountain of student debt.
FPI is bringing on trainees for our Paid Training Program in Southern and Coastal Maine. From your first day, you're earning. You'll train alongside our inspectors, cover the path to national certification, and develop the kind of working knowledge that turns into a real career. Finish the program, step into a full-time position.
What's Included Paycheck from day one — we cover training materials and certification costs. Hands-on mentorship from experienced inspectors. InterNACHI/ASHI-aligned national certification pathway. Full-time role at program completion. Earning potential that increases with your skills and schedule.
What We're Looking For No inspection background required. You should be mechanically minded, thorough, and comfortable working on your own in occupied homes and all-weather conditions. Good with people. Reliable vehicle, valid license, and a cell phone.
Trades, construction, military, or any hands-on work history puts you in a strong position. No background like that? If you're sharp, motivated, and coachable, reach out anyway.
About FPI Veteran-owned and operating across Maine, New Hampshire, and North Carolina. We hold ourselves to a higher standard — and we build our team the same way.
Focused Property Inspections is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Flexible work from home options available.
