Position Purpose:
The Home Depot is redefining the future of retail to enable doers to get more done. As the 4th largest retailer and 5th largest ecommerce retailer in the US, our marketing team sits at the intersection of brands, ideas, customers, media and content for The Home Depot. We are seeking a Specialist to be a key partner on our Pro Marketing team. The Specialist will support the company's Pro business efforts ensuring key Pro objectives, marketing strategy and revenue goals are met. This role takes ownership of work streams and oversees multiple aspects of marketing including application of research and strategy to support the team in delivering omni-channel marketing activations that meet our Pro customers' needs. This role will have exposure to The Home Depot business, influencing store and company-wide Pro Marketing efforts while growing strong working relationships and affecting change from within one of the world's leading retailers.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Primary marketing partner for assigned National Accounts and NAMs
  • Manage intake submissions so requests are prioritized, tracked, and completed
  • Coordinate creative proofing and reviews with internal stakeholders
  • Oversee delivery of creative assets, collateral, and campaign materials
  • Manage enrollment guide creation and updates
  • Execute and monitor ad hoc marketing support requests and account needs
  • Gather account-level measurement reports to support QBRs and business reviews
  • Maintain timelines, documentation, and communication across initiatives

Direct Manager/Direct Reports:
  • This position typically reports to Manager, Pro Marketing
  • This position has 0 direct reports

Travel Requirements:
  • Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Physical Requirements:
  • Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Working Conditions:
  • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
  • No travel required

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Previous experience planning and executing marketing strategy using data-driven decision making
  • Analytical expertise with experience making recommendations based off of data
  • Self-directed, detail oriented and highly organized to manage information coming from multiple stakeholders
  • Demonstrated interest in marketing trends, consumer behavior or data analytics
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office especially PowerPoint and Excel
  • Ability to manage large detailed project to tight timelines; Responds under pressures of time and uncertainty

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Comfortable using AI tools such as CoPilot and Gemini
  • Prior marketing or agency account management experience
  • Experience in retail and/or B2B customer marketing

Minimum Education:
  • The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
