Job Summary
The OnBase Workflow Developer and Administrator III designs, develops, and maintains enterprise workflows and administrative functions within the OnBase platform. This position supports health plan payer operations through document management automation, integration, and optimization. The incumbent collaborates with key stakeholders to ensure efficient, secure, and compliant document lifecycle management. Responsibilities include configuring document types, creating Unity Forms, implementing business logic, developing Unity Scripts using C#.NET, and integrating OnBase with external systems via Representational State Transfer Application Programming Interface (REST APIs). Acts as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), serves as a resource and mentor for other staff.
Duties
Design and develop complex OnBase workflows using OnBase Studio to support business needs across departments.
Create and manage OnBase document types, keywords, and Auto Fill Keysets (AFKS). Define platform standards, development best practices, naming conventions, and governance frameworks for OnBase use across the organization.
Administer user and user group configurations, roles, and permissions within OnBase.
Develop and maintain Unity Forms, data validations, and document import forms.
Create scheduled jobs for Document Import Process (DIP) and AFKS data loads.
Develop and implement Unity scripts using C#.NET and integrate OnBase solutions with REST APIs.
Lead configuration and implementation of Smart Capture, Hot Keys, and App Enabler for automation.
Collaborate with business teams to analyze process requirements and implement workflow improvements.
Provide production support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for OnBase systems.
Partner with internal departments to ensure all development complies with enterprise security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
Apply subject matter expertise in evaluating business operations and processes. Identify areas where technical solutions would improve business performance. Consult across business operations, provide mentorship, and contribute specialized knowledge. Ensure that the facts and details are correct so that the program's deliverable meets the needs of the department, organization and legislation's policies, standards, and best practices. Provide training and recommend process improvements as needed.

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Related Field
In lieu of degree, equivalent education and/or experience may be considered.

Experience
Required:
At least 5 years of experience working with Hyland OnBase development, workflow design, and administration.
Experience integrating OnBase with external applications using APIs.
Preferred:
Healthcare payer or regulated industry experience.
Experience with Smart Capture, App Enabler, and enterprise data integration tools.
Skills
Required:
Proficient in Hyland OnBase Workflow Studio, Unity Forms, C#.NET scripting, and system administration.
Strong understanding of document management principles, automation, and security compliance.
