Job description

Loading Dock Attendant (Part-time)
Department: Stadium Operations
Direct Supervisor: Sr. Manager, Stadium Operations
Status: Part-time / Hourly
Summary:
The loading dock attendant will be responsible for the daily operations and maintenance of the loading dock. This position will be the liaison between external vendors and internal stakeholders to facilitate a seamless experience.
Location:
This is a part-time/hourly position based on site at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, FL.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead loading dock operations including receipt of inbound and outbound packages, enforcing dock safety practices, signing in/out all packages, and parcel movement.
  • Lead tracking of all parcel lifecycles in the Notify system upon arrival through delivery to intended party.
  • Ensure all delivery vendors, contractors and employees abide by loading dock safety and security procedures.
  • Communicate effectively to all internal and external stakeholders always maintaining a professional relationship.
  • Maintain a well-organized and clean loading dock space at all times.
  • Collaborate with the mail room team for internal parcel delivery.
  • Other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma/GED required (some college education preferred)
  • Ability to lift 50lbs
  • Previous loading dock experience preferred
  • Keen attention to detail with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Ability to operate forklift and warehouse equipment preferred
  • Ability to climb, crawl, kneel, squat, bend, and extend arms or legs fully
