Job description

Help Shape the Future of Robotics, Earn Income!

We’re looking for paid participants to record themselves complete everyday activities from the comfort of their own homes using a head strap and their own smartphone! Simply film tasks you already do, upload your videos, and get paid up to $1,800/month*.

Your videos will help train robotics systems to better perceive, understand and interact with real-world environments.

What You’ll Do

  • Your objective is to capture footage of your arms, hands and fingers interacting with objects and your environment
  • Film via head strap + your own smartphone video camera, for between 5 to 45 minutes at a time
  • Perform basic quality checks before submitting, upload footage to a designated Google Drive folder
  • Get paid!

Example Tasks

  • Folding laundry, cooking or food preparation, cleaning, tidying, or organizing
  • Sorting or rearranging items, picking up, placing and grouping objects
  • Using simple tools (e.g., utensils, cloths, screwdriver), assembling or disassembling objects
  • Reaching and placing items at different heights/distances

Requirements

  • 1099 contractor position. You must be a U.S. citizen or Green Card holder. No OPT or CPT
  • Must own a smartphone with wide-angle lens/camera and able to record in 1080p 30 FPS at minimum
  • Must have a strong internet speed to upload videos
  • Must review and follow all provided filming guidelines

Compensation

  • $17.00 per hour of approved, usable footage produced in accordance with acceptance criteria
  • Most earners deliver usable footage, and if not, feedback is provided.
  • Get a $10.00 headgear bonus when you upload your first video within 7 days of starting!
  • Paid at the end of each month

  • Flexible, self-paced work — film on your own schedule. Earn extra income by simply filming what you already do
  • Upload footage regularly to maintain participation
  • Project participation is evaluated month-to-month
  • No cap on how much you can film — more usable footage = more earnings
