Job description

Senior Transaction Coordinator

This is a remote position. As a Senior Transaction Coordinator, you will oversee complex and high-value transactions, ensuring seamless processes from contract to close. Leveraging your diverse experience across multiple states, you will manage a team of transaction coordinators, lead training initiatives, and support continuous improvement in transaction management.

Responsibilities:

  • Transaction Management: Oversee and manage high-value and complex transactions, ensuring all required documents and steps are completed accurately and on time. Maintain detailed records of each transaction, including communication, deadlines, and status updates. Coordinate with real estate agents, lenders, title companies, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth transactions.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of transaction coordinators, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance. Assign transactions to team members based on workload, expertise, and transaction complexity. Conduct regular team meetings to review progress, address challenges, and share best practices.
  • Training and Development: Develop and deliver training programs for new and junior transaction coordinators to enhance their skills and knowledge. Create and update training materials, manuals, and standard operating procedures. Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to team members to foster their professional growth.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies in transaction coordination. Implement best practices and standardize procedures across the team to ensure consistency and quality. Collaborate with other departments to streamline workflows and enhance the overall transaction process.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with state-specific real estate regulations and company policies across all transactions. Identify potential risks in transactions and develop mitigation strategies. Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and market conditions affecting transaction coordination.
  • Client Relationship Management: Serve as a primary point of contact for high-value clients, providing exceptional service and addressing any issues or concerns. Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners and stakeholders. Represent the company in a professional manner during all client interactions.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years in transaction coordination, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Extensive experience managing transactions across multiple states.
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team of transaction coordinators.
  • Strong understanding of real estate transactions, documentation, and state-specific requirements.
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage relationships effectively.
  • Proficiency in transaction management software and other relevant tools.
