Job Description

  • Manage a full caseload of subrogation and civil litigation matters.
  • Prosecute workers' compensation subrogation claims from inception through resolution.
  • Develop litigation strategies and case plans.
  • Conduct discovery, depositions, and legal research.
  • Draft motions, pleadings, briefs, correspondence, and other legal documents.
  • Prepare cases for mediation, arbitration, settlement, and trial.
  • Attend court appearances and represent clients throughout litigation.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties.
  • Negotiate favorable settlements while protecting client interests.

Qualifications

  • Active California Bar license.
  • 1+ year of subrogation law experience.
  • Civil litigation experience.
  • Strong legal writing, analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to independently manage a litigation caseload.
  • California residency required.
  • Workers' compensation subrogation experience preferred.
