Are you a passionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) looking to make a meaningful impact in a school setting? We are seeking a dedicated BCBA to support students and educational teams in San Francisco, California. This is a full-time opportunity offering a consistent schedule, competitive compensation, and the chance to positively influence student success.

Position Details
  • Location: San Francisco, CA
  • Setting: School-Based
  • Schedule: 36.5 Hours Per Week
  • Start Date: Immediate and Upcoming School Year Opportunities Available
  • Compensation: Up to $3,682 Weekly
  • Weekly Pay: Paid Every Friday
Responsibilities
  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)
  • Develop and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
  • Analyze behavioral data and provide recommendations
  • Collaborate with special education teams, teachers, administrators, and families
  • Provide staff training and behavior management support
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and district guidelines
  • Support students with behavioral, social-emotional, and developmental needs
Education & Requirements

To work as a BCBA in a California school setting, candidates should possess:

  • Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
  • Master's degree in Behavior Analysis, Education, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field
  • Experience working with children and adolescents preferred
  • Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and methodologies
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and data analysis skills
  • Ability to obtain and maintain all required school-based clearances and documentation
  • California school-based experience preferred but not required

Minimum Requirements:  

  • Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
  • Master’s degree in applied behavior analysis, teaching, psychology or related field
  • Preferred experience providing behavior analytic programs and services in schools
  • One (1) year minimum pediatric experience preferred
  • Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice 
  • Current CPR if applicable
  • TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
  • Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) 
  • Must meet all federal, state and local requirements 
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
