Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid Alabama SLP Certification
  • SLP Educator Certification required (see state website for verification)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellowship (CF) considered
  • Fingerprints/background check clearance as required by AL
  • Schools-based SLP experience preferred, but strong new grads are encouraged to apply

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver therapy services to a caseload of approximately 60 students
  • Provide direct support, assessment, and intervention in designated schools (positions available at high, middle, and elementary levels)
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings and collaborate with teaching staff
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
  • Assist in developing strategies to meet students’ varied communication needs
