This role is designed for remote engagement, specifically tailored to support school environments across North Las Vegas, Nevada. • Conduct thorough assessments to understand students' mental health needs, including their emotional, social, and academic challenges.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that reflect each student’s unique goals and circumstances.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methodologies, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and mindfulness techniques, to facilitate positive mental health outcomes.
• Maintain comprehensive, accurate, and confidential documentation of all client interactions and treatment progress in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and school administrators to create holistic support systems for students.
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss care strategies, share insights, and ensure a unified approach to student wellness.
• Engage with continuing education and professional development opportunities to stay abreast of the latest research and best practices in the field.

The focus of this position will be largely on students from diverse backgrounds dealing with a range of emotional and behavioral issues. Our ideal candidate will passionately advocate for the mental wellness of children facing challenges such as trauma, social anxiety, depression, and adjustment issues, ensuring that they receive the tools and strategies necessary for success both in and out of the classroom.

• Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from a program accredited by the Council on Social Work Education.
• Must hold an active Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMSW) certification in the state of Nevada.
• Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessment techniques and therapeutic interventions.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine ability to build rapport with children and adolescents.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work setting.

While a minimum of two years' experience in a mental health setting is required, experience specifically working in school systems or with youth populations is highly desirable. Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices and effective intervention strategies for young clients will be seen as an asset.
