In your role as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, you will be entrusted with a variety of responsibilities aimed at fostering mental health and wellness among students. Your daily tasks will include:

• Conducting in-depth clinical assessments to evaluate the mental health needs of your clients, followed by the creation of personalized and effective treatment plans.
• Implementing a range of therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailoring approaches to meet the unique needs and preferences of each client.
• Maintaining meticulous clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and industry best practices.
• Collaborating seamlessly with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and educational professionals, to coordinate comprehensive care and support for your clients.
• Participating in regular case consultations and peer review meetings, assisting in maintaining high standards of care and shared learning among the team.
• Providing education and resources to clients and their families, empowering them with knowledge about mental health issues and available treatment options.
• Remaining current with the latest research and developments in mental health to inform your clinical practice and ensure best practices are applied.
• Managing a full caseload effectively, continuously monitoring treatment progress, and adjusting strategies to meet evolving client needs in line with ethical standards and professional guidelines.

This position primarily focuses on providing support to students and their families within the school setting. You will work with a diverse array of clients facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, depression, behavioral issues, and life transitions. Your role will not only involve treating these concerns but also working proactively to support students in achieving their educational and personal growth goals.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Illinois.
• A minimum of three years of experience in a clinical setting, specifically focused on providing psychotherapy services.
• Proficient knowledge of solution-based psychotherapy techniques and evidence-based practices.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with clients and collaborating with colleagues.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, enabling effective problem-solving in clinical scenarios.
• A proven ability to work well within a team-oriented environment.
