Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Diagnosing and treating a variety of mental health disorders, focusing on both individual and relational issues.
• Creating individualized treatment plans tailored to the specific needs and circumstances of each client.
• Conducting regular counseling sessions with clients, either one-on-one or in group settings, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.

• Facilitating communication and support for families dealing with relational challenges, and providing resources as needed.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals and referring clients to specialists for additional support as required.

Qualifications

To be considered for the Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A valid and active license to practice as an LMFT in California.
• A master's or doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated experience or specialized training in addiction counseling is preferred.
