Remote Civil Litigation Attorney
We're a boutique Bay Area civil litigation firm seeking an experienced California litigator (3+ years) who wants high-level work with a real work-life balance. The role offers remote flexibility, manageable 1,650 billables, strong compensation, and substantial autonomy. You'll handle a broad range of civil matters-including commercial, business, real estate, and probate-and manage cases through all major litigation phases. We value smart, collaborative attorneys who bring excellent judgment and enjoy a positive, low-ego environment.
Responsibilities
โ€ข Handle full-cycle litigation (pleadings, discovery, motions, depositions, trial prep, and trial)
โ€ข Develop a case strategy and evaluate settlement options
โ€ข Draft and argue dispositive motions and discovery motions
โ€ข Take and defend depositions
โ€ข Appear in court for hearings and trials
โ€ข Ensure compliance with procedural rules and deadlines
Qualifications
โ€ข Active bar license in California
โ€ข 3-7+ years civil litigation experience
โ€ข Trial and motion practice experience strongly preferred
โ€ข Strong legal writing and oral advocacy skills
โ€ข Proven ability to manage multiple cases independently
