The Arc of the Ozarks is hiring Registered Behavior Technicians to support children, adolescents, and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and behavioral support needs.
This is more than a traditional clinic-based RBT position. You may work across residential, community, in-home, and site-based settings while helping individuals strengthen communication, daily living skills, relationships, community participation, and independence.

In this role, you may help someone communicate a need, complete a daily living task more independently, develop social skills, participate in the community, or reduce barriers caused by challenging behavior.

What You'll Do
As a Registered Behavior Technician, you will:

• Implement individualized behavior support plans and skill-acquisition programs under BCBA supervision
• Provide direct ABA services to children, adolescents, and adults
• Teach communication, social, adaptive, community, and daily living skills
• Help individuals increase independence and participate more fully in their communities
• Collect accurate behavioral and skill-acquisition data during sessions
• Complete required documentation and service records accurately and on time
• Communicate progress, concerns, and relevant updates with BCBAs, supervisors, caregivers, and team members
• Model approved interventions and behavior-support strategies for caregivers and program staff
• Support individuals who may experience aggression, self-injury, impulsivity, or other challenging behaviors
• Use calm, respectful, consistent, and person-centered approaches during challenging situations
• Participate in supervision, treatment-planning meetings, team meetings, training, and professional development
• Follow all treatment plans, safety procedures, ethical standards, and RBT scope-of-practice requirements

Schedule, Location and Pay
This is a full-time, in-person position based in Monett, Missouri.
Full-time schedules may be built across Monday-Sunday based on program needs. Weekend hours may be available for candidates who are interested and available.
Your agreed-upon schedule will be discussed during the interview process so you have a clear understanding of the expected days, hours, and service locations.
Services may be provided in:

• Arc program locations
• Residential or group-home settings
• Individual homes
• Community locations

Travel within Monett and the surrounding service area is required.
Pay is $23-$28/hour, based on experience and qualifications.
Training, Certification and Clinical Support
You will receive structured support from BCBAs, the RBT Supervisor, and the Monett ABA leadership team.
Support may include:

• Paid orientation and role-specific training
• Regular, structured BCBA supervision
• Session feedback and coaching
• Competency assessments
• Treatment-plan and program updates
• CPR and First Aid training
• Crisis prevention and de-escalation training
• Professional development opportunities
• Support with maintaining required certifications

This position is intended for candidates who hold Registered Behavior Technician certification. Certification sponsorship may be considered for otherwise qualified candidates and will be discussed during the hiring process.

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to work a full-time schedule based on agreed-upon availability
• Ability to provide in-person services in Monett and surrounding service locations
• Reliable transportation for work-related travel

Preferred Qualifications

• Current Registered Behavior Technician certification in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board
• Experience providing ABA services
• Experience supporting children, adolescents, or adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities
• Experience implementing behavior support plans
• Experience supporting individuals with aggression, self-injury, or other significant behavioral needs
• Experience collecting behavioral or skill-acquisition data
• Interest in continued professional growth within ABA or developmental disability services
